Cable Tidying
Most modders I know hate cables, whether its because they ruin the look of their otherwise clean and tidy PC, or because they impede airflow - maybe a bit of both. Sleeving all cables in a bunch is popular on many of the current worklogs, but I wanted to be different so, for example, I split a 24-pin ATX extension cable into sets of six and popped on some green sleeving.
The sleeving I used was UV green and was provided by
Mnpctech, who sponsored me after seeing some of my previous work. The extension turned out ok, although I need to improve my braiding skills for the perfect finish.
The parts of the HAF932 which annoyed me most were the bulges on the roof and side panel. I wanted a cleaner look, so I cut them out and replaced them. Out came the safety goggles and rotary tool and I got to work.
With sparks flying from the cutting disc, I was glad to be wearing the goggles - especially when one of my discs shattered spectacularly and embedded itself in the floor! You can't put a price on your safety.
I had intended to do the roof panel in two back to back videos, but I just didn't have the time. This idea got put on the back burner while I did other, less time consuming areas.
